Donors, students meet at Scholarship Luncheon

More than 200 donors, student-aid recipients, staff and other guests attended the 2014 Binghamton University Foundation Scholarship Donors Luncheon, held Nov. 8, on campus. The annual event is an opportunity for donors and the recipients of their support to meet and interact face-to-face. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation awards more than $2.5 million to about 1,900 scholarship, fellowship, assistantship and research grant recipients each year.

Camille A. Paglia ’68, valedictorian of her graduating Harpur College class, was a guest speaker at the event. She discussed her memories of being a Harpur student and her establishment of the Paglia-Colapietro Memorial Scholarship in 2014. Keri Mastro, a biology major and member of the Class of 2016, is the first recipient of the scholarship.
