Family Weekend — a huge success!

Over 4,000 guests attended family weekend this fall. We had brunches and socials, working out at the Rec Center, family portraits, a Downtown Binghamton Art Safari, panel and information sessions, cupcakes, University Art Museum exhibitions and demonstrations, a book sale, Nature Preserve tours, concerts, Late Nite, plays…and the list goes on. Partnering with the Student Association, we brought in Lewis Black to perform to a sold-out audience of 3,000.

We had more campus participation than ever before. Families got to see a hands-on Arduino demonstration by Watson Engineering Design Division students, learned about getting involved with Greek Life through panel discussions instead of lectures, attended an Alumni Legacy Luncheon, learned about accelerated programs through the Graduate School, and interacted with student organizations that were tabling. We look forward to next year!
