Scholarship Luncheon

A total of 287 donors, student-aid recipients, faculty, staff and other guests attended this year’s Scholarship Luncheon, held Nov. 9, and presented by the Binghamton University Foundation. Thanks to donor support, the Foundation will award more than $2.5 million to 1,800 scholarship, fellowship, assistantship and research grant recipients in fiscal year 2013-14. Aisha Prudent, Class of 2015, was the event’s student speaker and is the recipient of four scholarships. She is majoring in human development and political science and hopes to become a criminal defense lawyer.
