Binghamton University Foundation highlights
The Binghamton University Foundation named Sheila Doyle as its executive director effective July 1. In this role, Doyle reports directly to President Harvey Stenger and serves as a member of his senior officer’s group. Her primary role is planning and organizing the continued growth and development of the Binghamton University Foundation and its affiliates, which include over $150 million in assets.
Through support from alumni and friends and strategic investments, the Binghamton University Foundation reached a milestone in its history at its fiscal year end, June 30, 2014, when the assets under management exceeded $100 million. Endowment giving provides a level of sustainability for all that is good about Binghamton. Donors give to the Foundation’s endowment because they are passionate about its mission: to support Binghamton University.
