McNeil Center for Early American Studies Dissertation Fellowship Program

The McNeil Center for Early American Studies awards dissertation fellowships for nine-month terms to facilitate research and scholarly inquiry into the histories and cultures of North America in the Atlantic world before 1850. Fellows receive office space in the Center's headquarters at the University of Pennsylvania. Stipend is $21,000; limited travel funds for research.
