Background

Qifei Kao joined the Department of Asian and Asian American Studies (DAAAS) as a lecturer in Chinese in 2022. Prior to becoming a full-time lecturer, she taught elementary Chinese language courses as an adjunct lecturer in DAAAS and served as a graduate student instructor in the Translation Research and Instruction Program (TRIP), where she taught workshop courses. Her main research interests focus on integrating technology into language classes and applying pedagogical translation and translation pedagogy to language teaching.
