Yan Sun received a doctorate in chemistry from Michigan State University. Before joining Binghamton’s team in 2018, she had more than five years of experience in managing biological research instrumentation facilities at Johns Hopkins University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has extensive experience in the field of biophysics and biological sciences, focusing on techniques such as optical microscopy, solid-state and liquid-state NMR, flow cytometry and mass spectrometry.
