HERE ARE SOME RESOURCES TO HELP MAKE YOUR FIRST SEMESTER AT BINGHAMTON A SUCCESSFUL ONE!

Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development

The Fleishman Center helps students of all majors find opportunities to gain experience through internships, learn more about careers and bolster employability. Fleishman staff also host alumni and employer events, and career consulting sessions.

Success Coaches

Peer and professional Success Coaches support student learning through personalized one-on-one coaching appointments, weekly supportive accountability groups, workshops and access to virtual resources.

Writing Center

Our excellent tutors are available Monday-Friday online to assist you with any assignment (essays, research papers, lab reports, etc.) and help with critical reading and developing presentations.

University Tutoring Services

University Tutorial Services (UTS) provides free tutoring for Binghamton students. They provide an encouraging learning environment for students of all skills, backgrounds and aspirations.

CARE Team

The CARE Team (Consultation, Advocacy, Referral and Education) helps students cope with complex situations. Case managers work with students to identify their struggles and potential solutions. The CARE Team is here to listen, support and help students navigate their best paths to success.

University Counseling Center

At some point during their college experience, students may encounter personal, social, career or academic issues that call for assistance beyond the advice provided by friends and family. That's where the University Counseling Center (UCC) can help. The UCC provides a variety of free and confidential counseling and referral services delivered by professional counselors.

Student Association

Binghamton has 450+ student clubs/organizations and they're run and overseen by students! The Student Association (SA) represents and advocates for the needs, desires and opinions of students as well as provides students with opportunities for personal, professional and academic growth through involvement in these student-led organizations.

Center for Civic Engagement

The Center for Civic Engagement provides opportunities to connect with the surrounding community through credit-based service-learning courses; non-partisan voter registration, education and advocacy programming; and short- and long-term volunteer opportunities.

University Union and Campus Activities

Campus Activities sponsors a variety of campus-wide and student-run events, as well as speaker series, concerts, comedians and weekly fun.

Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation offers a wide array of activities and classes that take place indoors and outdoors both on and off campus, including club sports, intramurals, fitness and wellness classes and spaces, and outdoor pursuits.

Binghamton University has numerous programs which lead to licensure and certification in New York and in other states.
