Scholarship Eligibility/Requirements at Binghamton University

Congratulations on being selected to receive a Binghamton University scholarship!

Please review the conditions of the award for which you were selected. Note: You received an email detailing the total amount you were awarded.* 

• President’s Scholarship
  • The President’s Scholarship is awarded annually for up to four (4) years of undergraduate enrollment. **
  • Your award will be reduced if you become eligible for New York resident tuition. All other sources of New York state aid will be considered in the calculation of your scholarship.
  • Scholarship recipients must register for full-time status each semester (at least 12 credits).
  • Scholarship awards are applied to major semesters only (fall and spring).  
  • Scholarship recipients must achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA by the end of each academic year.
• Provost’s Scholarship
  • The Provost’s Scholarship is awarded annually for up to four (4) years of undergraduate enrollment. **
  • Your award will be reduced if you become eligible for New York resident tuition. All other sources of New York state aid will be considered in the calculation of your scholarship.
  • Scholarship recipients must register for full-time status each semester (at least 12 credits).
  • Scholarship awards are applied to major semesters only (fall and spring).  
  • Scholarship recipients must achieve a minimum 2.9 GPA by the end of each academic year.
• Dean’s Scholarship
  • The Dean’s Scholarship is awarded annually for up to four (4) years of undergraduate enrollment. **
  • Your award will be reduced if you become eligible for New York resident tuition. All other sources of New York state aid will be considered in the calculation of your scholarship.
  • Scholarship recipients must register for full-time status each semester (at least 12 credits).
  • Scholarship awards are applied to major semesters only (fall and spring).  
  • Scholarship recipients must achieve a minimum 2.8 GPA by the end of each academic year.

*Merit scholarships do not constitute the entire financial aid package. 

**Students in the Pharmacy Early Acceptance Program (PEAP) students are eligible for 4 years even if they are taking graduate-level classes.

To accept your scholarship, secure your spot at Binghamton University! Pay your enrollment deposit at paydeposit.binghamton.edu by the date listed in your acceptance letter.
