Studying Abroad
From left: Arthur O'Sullivan, Matthew Silber, Molly Goodwin, Grace Meyers, Chloe Vecchio, Abigail Rothleder, Aidan Walsh, James McCann and Antonio Ferrer participated in the Ancient Italy in Context course led by Associate Professor of Classical Studies Hilary Becker, second from right. This education abroad program was offered by Binghamton's Office of International Education and Global Initiatives (IEGI) and allowed students to visit archaeological and cultural sites in and around Rome and the Bay of Naples. Students are standing in a porticus of a Roman house at Herculaneum, a town that was destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D.
