Celebrating Harriet Tubman Day

Anne Bailey, director of the Harriet Tubman Center for Freedom and Equity, thanks Dan Hand and his daughter Abigail after they unveiled the Stephen Hand marker along the Downtown Binghamton Freedom Trail, which highlights the Underground Railroad and key abolitionist meeting places, March 12. Hand is the great, great, great-grandson of the abolitionist.
