New vending machine gives Binghamton University students access to emergency contraceptives
Binghamton University unveiled a 24/7 accessible vending machine in the Glenn G. Bartle Library basement that sells a $10 emergency contraceptive. Luca Cassidy (pictured here), the vice president for student success at the Student Association, led the initiative with help from members of the Road Map Interns, Nora Monasheri, Mia Raksin and Daniel Chavarria, as well as Planned Parent Action Generation club leaders, Sophia Panos and Yume Igarashi.
