Background

Ali joined the School of Computing at Binghamton University in fall 2021. He earned his PhD degree in computer science and engineering from University at Buffalo in 2021. Ali's research focuses on edge-assisted mobile systems, and he is also interested in robotics systems, autonomous systems and machine learning. Ali won third place in the ACM Graduate Student Research Competition (SRC) at MobiCom 2020 for his work on edge-assisted visual simultaneous localization and mapping.
