Background
Amy Kilpatrick grew up in Walton, NY and attended SUNY Oswego and University of Hartford, before pursuing both her MSW in social work and MA in social science degrees in 2003 at both State University at Albany and Binghamton University respectively. She has been a clinical social worker in mental health since 2005, and has been working at the UCC since 2012. Her clinical interests include mental health, adjustment concerns, personality disorders, assertiveness training, and group therapy. She uses predominately DBT therapy, along with Cognitive-behavioral, Mindfulness Meditation, and acceptance approaches. In her spare time, she enjoys attending many sporting events played by her three children, adventure seeking, reading, watching TV, and spending time with friends.
