Background

Sangmoon Kim obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Syracuse University and has been working at the University Counseling Center since 2012. His clinical and professional interests include adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, diversity/multicultural, existential crisis, group psychotherapy, international students, relationship problems and self-esteem. He uses interpersonal-process, relational and existential approach predominantly for counseling. In his spare time he likes to go fishing, play golf and take a walk with his dog Troy. He is a native speaker of Korean; he grew up in Jeju Province, South Korea and came to the U.S. for his graduate school in 2003. He provides counseling service both In English and Korean.
