Open only to Decker College nursing preceptors, Binghamton University's Preceptor Appreciation Day will be held at the University's Health Sciences Building in Johnson City. A light breakfast, lunch and parking will be provided.

We are pleased to welcome back Sally K. Miller, PhD, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FAANP, who will present: Hot Topics in Primary Care and Mental Health. The presentation will include sessions on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, managing sleep disorders, anxiety and depression, and complex case studies.

Miller is a nurse practitioner with 31 years of experience and four national board specialty certifications, including psychiatry mental health across the lifespan and family practice. She is also a clinical professor at Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions in Philadelphia and a sought-after presenter at national conferences and continuing education events.

The Binghamton University Foundation and the Decker School of Nursing HRSA ANEW program are sponsoring this event.

This event has been approved for 6 contact hours of Nursing Continuing Professional Development. Binghamton University Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Northeast Multistate Division Education Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
