Background

Nannette Cowen, PhD, FNP-BC is a clinical assistant professor at the Decker School of Nursing at Binghamton University. She is the coordinator of the Family Health Nursing program and teaches in the Family Nurse Practitioner program in addition to teaching the Foundations for Interprofessional Communications course.

Cowen has 20 years of FNP experience. In addition to teaching, she is presently practicing as a nurse practitioner in a rural clinic.
