Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into Binghamton's online Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (PP-OTD) program, applicants must:
- Hold a master’s degree in occupational therapy or a relevant discipline
- Have graduated from a WFOT-approved and ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
- Satisfy the general conditions and procedures for graduate admission to Binghamton University.
- Possess at least one year of experience in clinical practice as an occupational therapist
Application Instructions
To apply to the program, be prepared to provide the following:
- Submission of the online application
- Submission of academic transcripts from each college or university you have attended
- A personal statement that addresses your talents, experiences and ability to prioritize your obligations and deadlines
- Your plan to create a balance between work, school and personal life while in this program
- Résumé or curriculum vitae
- Two letters of recommendation (one must be from a supervisor)
- A virtual interview may be required at the discretion of the PP-OTD Admissions Committee
NOTE: GRE scores are not required for Binghamton University’s PP-OTD program.
