Background
Yoonjeong Lim joined Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in January 2023 as an assistant professor in the Division of Occupational Therapy.
As a clinician, Lim has 5 years of clinical experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, developmental delay, ADHD and Down syndrome. She worked in various clinical settings, including outpatient, school, home health and telehealth.
Lim’s previous research focused on the family impact of raising children with rare diseases and the psychometric properties of assessments. Her current research extends to improving the quality of life of people with rare diseases by promoting their participation in meaningful and desired activities.
