Information Commons

Binghamton University's three Information Commons facilities (located in the Bartle, Science, and UDC Libraries) are active, technology-enhanced research environments that provide a range of collaborative and individual study spaces. The Commons invite and attract the campus community to use the wide range of resources available in the Library, and to obtain expert research and technical assistance from Librarians and student IT Consultants. A comprehensive set of tools for information retrieval and manipulation are available to support the entire process of scholarly inquiry. Over 300 computer workstations (both PC and Mac), black and white quota printing, color printing and scanning are available.

All three Information Commons are open the same hours as the Libraries in which they are located.

Bartle Library Information Commons

Scanning equipment, a photocopier, and black & white and color printing are also available.

The IT Help Desk in the Bartle Library Information Commons is not staffed during all open hours.
