The first year at a new institution is full of challenges and rewards for students. It is a time of transition during which development of their personal and intellectual selves occurs, and preparation for their future careers begins. This event also marks a significant change in the lives of their families. Families are a vital part of the Binghamton University community, and help us work toward a common goal: a happy and successful undergraduate experience for your loved one.
Binghamton University embraces parents and families as partners in support of their students' successful journeys through college. In this spirit, we are offering a comprehensive in-person Family Orientation experience for the summer of 2024. Information on financial aid, residential life and housing, and health services will be shared, and opportunities to connect with current Binghamton University students and tour our beautiful campus.
Registration: Beginning in mid-May, students who have submitted their deposit may register for their Orientation. During this process, students may register parents and family members for the Family Orientation program.
