BINGHAMTON, NY – The Confucius Institute of Chinese Opera at Binghamton University will hold its “Amazing China” show to celebrate Chinese New Year at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, in the Watters Theater, in the Fine Arts Building, on campus.

The Confucius Institute of Chinese Opera (CICO) at Binghamton University is a nonprofit organization jointly formed by Binghamton University and the National Academy of Chinese Theater Arts (NACTA). Faculty from Binghamton University and NACTA will perform at the event, which will include Beijing Opera excerpts, Chinese folk songs and traditional Chinese instrumental music.

Ticket prices are $5 for students, $8 for seniors and Binghamton University faculty/staff, and $10 for the public. For tickets, contact the Anderson Center Box Office at 607-777-ARTS or purchase them online. For further questions, contact Carrie Feyerabend at 607-777-3056 or cico@binghamton.edu.
