Binghamton University’s Office of Industrial Outreach and IBM Corp. will host a workshop discussing the future of data sciences and artificial intelligence (AI) from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Innovative Technologies Complex (ITC).

The workshop is intended for industry professionals, academic scholars and students interested in how artificial intelligence can give them an edge in their business endeavors. Attendees will interact with IBM and Binghamton University technical leaders in the data science and artificial intelligence professions.

The workshop will start with a morning plenary session and transition into hands-on breakout sessions in the afternoon. A mixer with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres will follow from 4:30-7 p.m.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion for two professional development hours at the conclusion of the course.

The workshop costs $195 (group rates available for industry), with Binghamton University faculty, staff and alumni at $95 and students at $75. Students will be placed on waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis. Register online.
