Four faculty received this year's competitive award
Four CCPA faculty members were awarded Research Excellence Awards for 2021-22. This competitive, seed-grant program provides initial support for proposed collaborative research projects that have strong potential to attract external funding. Recipients receive funds from the College of Community and Public Affairs (CCPA) and the Division of Research.
Youjung Lee, Department of Social Work

Suzy Lee and Rene Rojas, Department of Human Development
Suzy Lee and ReneĢ Rojas, both assistant professors of human development, received $12,937 for their proposal, The Formation of Political Identity in in Post-Industrial Rural America,
Nicole Fenty, Department of Teaching, Learning and Educational Leadership
Nicole Fenty, associate professor for Teaching, Learning and Educational Leadership (TLEL) received $14,125 for her proposal, Preschool.Coding is Lit: Using a Collaborative Professional Development Model to Integrate Pre-Coding with an Early Childhood Curriculum.
