Binghamton University to celebrate Earth Day with Sustainability Scavenger Hunt

1 minute read

Binghamton University will celebrate Earth Day by hosting its first-ever Sustainability Scavenger Hunt, kicking off at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 22, at the Peace Quad on campus. The event is open to students, faculty and staff.

The scavenger hunt showcases some of the sustainability initiatives and resources Binghamton University has to offer. Scavenger hunt locations range from natural areas to programs addressing food insecurity within the campus and local community. Participants will find scavenger hunt locations around campus and submit photos and answers through an online form. Each submission will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.

The event is sponsored by the Office Recycling and Resource Management, Environmental Studies Department, University Dining Services, Transportation and Parking Services, University Bookstore, and Environmental Health and Safety.
