Binghamton ranked among America’s Best-in-State Employers of 2022

Binghamton University has been recognized by Forbes as one of “America’s Best Employers by State.”

Forbes has named Binghamton University the 52nd best employer in New York, and ninth overall in its industry. The survey collected by Forbes allowed 70,000 employees to participate anonymously and provide honest feedback on businesses employing at least 500 people across various industries.

“These annual rankings further solidify our position as not only a great educational institution, but also a great community for everyone working on campus,” said President Harvey Stenger.

The University has placed high on other recent rankings by Forbes. In 2019, Binghamton was ranked the 38th best value institution in the country. On the Forbes 2022 “America’s Top Colleges” list, Binghamton ranked higher than any other SUNY school, at 65th place. As for public universities, Forbes ranks Binghamton 22nd in the country.

“Binghamton University continues to be one of the best places to work in New York state,” said Vice President for Operations JoAnn Navarro. “We pride ourselves on offering an excellent, inclusive and welcoming work environment for all, and we’re pleased to hear our employees love working here.”
