Binghamton University to celebrate school pride at Homecoming 2022

Binghamton University anticipates welcoming more than 1,000 alumni back to campus during Homecoming weekend, Friday through Sunday, Oct. 7–9. This program, sponsored by the Binghamton University Alumni Association and numerous campus partners, will be a celebration of Binghamton pride for alumni of all eras. Many events are free and open to the public.

  • Binghamton Block Party (7–10 p.m. Friday – Washington Street, Binghamton): An entire downtown block will be closed for this Homecoming kickoff.
  • TIER Talks (11 a.m.–noon, Saturday – Chenango Champlain Collegiate Center Multipurpose Room): “Decision 2022: A Critical Look at the Midterm Election” will feature alumni and faculty with expertise and experience in public policy, public opinion, lobbying, voter engagement and advocacy.
  • Showcase of the new Hinman Dining Hall and Hinman Hill (Saturday afternoon)
  • Tailgate party (3–6 p.m. Saturday – Events Center Parking Lot): This outdoor gathering will be the biggest event of the weekend, leading into the men’s soccer game against University at Albany at 6:07 p.m. in the Bearcats Sports Complex. Soccer tickets are available through the Events Center box office.
  • Camille Thurman ’09 with the Darrell Green Quartet (7:30 p.m. Saturday – Anderson Center Chamber Hall): The Binghamton alumna and world-renowned jazz saxophonist and composer returns to campus for a special musical performance. Tickets are available through the Anderson Center box office.
  • Fireworks will light up the skies over campus (9 p.m. Saturday).
