Over 1,200 graduating students attended Grad Fest Wednesday, March 8, kicking off Commencement season and marking the highest turnout since the event started in 2019. The annual “one-stop” celebratory event offers graduates the opportunity to prepare for and celebrate their upcoming graduation in one convenient location.

The Mandela Room buzzed all day with students connecting with classmates, enjoying cupcakes, snapping pictures with Baxter the Bearcat and visiting participating department’s tables in anticipation of the big day. Students received ceremony and ticket information; purchased their caps, gowns and class rings; ordered yearbooks; and took graduation photos. They also shared post-graduation plans via the Senior Survey, registered for the Senior Send-off, joined the University Alumni Association and more.
