Establishing a tradition of giving
Student awards are presented every spring to graduating seniors and other students to recognize outstanding achievement and contributions to the Binghamton University community.
The awards are funded by the Binghamton Fund for Student Life, Division of Student Affairs and donors who support specific awards.
Some of the students began giving back to Binghamton before Commencement. This year, about 200 seniors made gifts of $20.23 or more in honor of their graduation year.
The Student Philanthropy Council at Binghamton promotes student giving and its importance and impact, setting the stage for continued support and connection to the University.
Sustained support from alumni, Binghamton Fund donors, faculty, staff and others are integral to the EXCELERATE campaign for Binghamton to enhance access, an exceptional education and a vibrant ecosystem of academic, creative and research discoveries.
