More than 1,200 graduating students attended the President’s Celebratory Sendoff May 11 on the Peace Quad.

University President Harvey Stenger and Student Association President Nia Johnson each gave a champagne toast to wish the soon-to-be graduates well.

Class of 2023 members were encouraged to bring their caps and gowns to pose for photos at the berm. There were food vendors ― some of which are alumni-owned ― and attendees received several Binghamton University swag items.

The tradition is a partnership between Office of the President, the Binghamton University Alumni Association and Campus Activities.
