Is your student staying in Binghamton over break? There are plenty of opportunities for them to make the most of their time locally — despite the cold temperatures! Returning to campus, they can cheer on our men’s and women’s NCAA Division 1 basketball teams, with seasons already underway. Heading out into the community, students can soak in the Roberson Museum and Science Center’s annual Home for the Holidays Exhibit, complete with festive displays and decor, through Jan. 5. The Binghamton Black Bears, the city’s minor league professional hockey team, have tons of exciting home games to enjoy at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena downtown. Embracing their creativity, they can even pop by Uncorked Creations Ceramic Studios to paint with friends or take an art class. We hope to see them out and about this winter!
