Students in Binghamton University’s School of the Arts will share their many talents during the second annual Festival of the Arts on May 7 and 9 on the Binghamton University campus. The events are free and open to the community.

Part of Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, the School of the Arts brings together programs in art and design, cinema, art history, music and theatre, and also works in collaboration with creative writing.

The first day will include a vibrant medley of short performances and workshops in the Grand Corridor and Fine Arts courtyard.

“This year, we have a really dynamic format, with everyone coming together in the same space!” said School of the Arts Director Christopher Robbins. “Right after classes end on Wednesday, May 7, stop by the Grand Corridor of the Arts Building from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. for food, live music, art, film, dance, performances, a film festival in a truck, workshops in improv and art making, and animations on our campus buildings! You can even print a T-shirt with student artwork.”
