Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences accepting applications for 2018 academic year

BINGHAMTON, NY - With its inaugural class in place, Binghamton University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPPS) is accepting applications for the 2018-19 academic year. Applications are due no later than March 1, 2018.

Applicants to the School of Pharmacy should apply online via PharmCAS, a centralized application service for pharmacy school applicants.

Before applying for admission to the Class of 2022, applicants should review the prerequisite courses and GPA/grade requirements, and take the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT), which is required for all applicants. PCAT scores cannot be older than five years, and those at or above the national average are considered highly competitive for entry.

All applicants must also satisfy the PharmD Technical Standards. For a complete list of admission requirements, visit the School of Pharmacy website.

After reviewing eligible applications, the School of Pharmacy will select applicants to be interviewed. Invitations for interviews will be mailed between September 2017 and April 2018. About the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Binghamton University’s new School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPPS) is a research-intensive professional school offering the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. In the future, it will also offer a doctoral program leading to a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences. This semester marked the arrival of the inaugural class in SOPPS. The school will enroll approximately 350 students when fully enrolled after four years – 320 in the PharmD program and an additional 30 PhD students.
