Transfer Student Success

Mentoring. Advice. Advocacy.

Did you know that more than 3,300 of our undergraduate students are transfers?
Transfer Student Success (TSS) is committed to assisting students prior to and during their transition into Binghamton University, and all the way through to their graduation day. After arriving to campus, transfer students are encouraged to use this office as a primary resource during their time at Binghamton, where they will find mentoring, advice and advocacy.

Transfers love Binghamton!

I was a proud member of Binghamton University's Transfer Student Association. TSA connected me with fellow transfer students with similar interests and diverse backgrounds. I made lifelong friends and it made the transition to a new school a great experience!

I transferred to Binghamton my sophomore year with one of the most popular majors: undeclared! Transfer Student Success offered mentoring and support that led me to graduate with a bachelor’s in geography. I loved my time at Binghamton so much that I decided to continue my education by enrolling in a dual-degree master’s program to study public administration and student affairs.
