As an Adjunct Faculty member at BU, I teach nursing research to ADN students who are returning to college to pursue their bachelor's degree. My research interests revolve around trauma-informed care and mental health. My journey in nursing began at BOCES, where I completed a Practical Nursing program. I earned my Ph.D. in nursing philosophy from BU in May 2023. Currently, I am the President-Elect of the Zeta Iota chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. When I am not teaching or researching, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies of gardening, pottery, and weaving. I love spending time outdoors, whether it's in my garden, riding my bike or on a hiking trail.
