Komla D. Dzigbede is an associate professor and chair in the Department of Public Administration. Dzigbede is an expert in state and local public finance and international economic policy.
His research is of high value to local, state, and national governments and spans a variety of topics, including debt issuance, debt refinancing, budget system effectiveness, tax reform, financial market regulation, and sustainable economic development.
Dzigbede has bachelor's and master’s degrees in economics from the University of Ghana and a doctorate in public policy from the Georgia State University in the United States. He is the editor-in-chief of the Public Finance & Management journal.
