Background
Shiran Froymovich earned her PhD in Business Administration (Accounting) at Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. Before joining the PhD program at Duke, Froymovich was a researcher at the Israel Tax Authority and a fellow at the Milken Innovation Center.
She also earned a master’s degree in economics at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and management (summa cum laude) at the Open University of Israel.
Froymovich's research interests are at the intersection of financial accounting, taxation, macro-accounting, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).
