Fuda Ning

Background

Fuda Ning obtained his bachelor and master degrees in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology, China, in 2011 and 2014, respectively. Then he started his Ph.D. study in the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering at Texas Tech University. Ning successfully defended his dissertation in November 2017 and graduated in May 2018.

His research interests include laser-based and extrusion-based additive manufacturing as well as non-traditional machining processes. He published more than 40 academic works including journal articles, conference papers, book chapter, and patents. He is a member of ASME and SME.

Ning joined the Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University as an Assistant Professor in Aug. 2018 to continue his academic career.
