Sustainability Story Map

Want to Learn More about Sustainability?

Each of these Story Maps provides background information about various aspects of sustainability, the sustainability challenges that exist for each topic, how the topics interact, and what you can do to help. The ArcGIS Story Map platform makes the process of learning about sustainability engaging by incorporating interactive maps and embedded videos and websites. Each of the Story Maps will direct you to additional resources, such as documentaries and books, if you want to explore the topics in even greater depth.

In addition to providing information about sustainability, these Story Maps are allowing us to study whether this type of digital storytelling influences sustainability knowledge and behavior. To participate in the research, you can take pre- and post-quizzes and sign up for a 12-month follow-up if you wish. If you don’t want to participate in the research, that’s fine! You can still engage with all of the material in the Story Maps.
