Physical Accessibility

Binghamton University is committed to raising accessibility awareness and removing barriers to ensure equal access for people with disabilities. The Physical Accessibility Advisory Committee has been established to respond to physical access concerns for people with disabilities.  The committee will serve as a collective resource for the entire Binghamton University community and will provide a forum to identify, prioritize, and remediate physical barriers throughout the campus.  The committee will also be responsible for developing internal standards and guidelines for existing buildings and accessible routes, as well as future buildings, amenities, parking areas and overall accessible access. The committee will advise the president and senior leadership on issues pertaining to physical access compliance, educational programs and accessibility awareness.
