About TEDx

TEDxBinghamtonUniversity is an SA-chartered event

This year's TEDxBinghamtonUniversity line-up includes a biochemist hoping to change science education, an alumnus who believes life is worth living to its fullest, a curious innovator passionate about the refugee crisis, a leader and collaborator in gaming animation, a student who understands the importance of mental health, a former member of the CIA who served in Baghdad, and an enthusiastic entertainment writer. All of our speakers have a passion to make a difference in the world and ignite change.

So what's 2019's theme? Audiences and speakers around the world come to TED and TEDx events to engage in provoking conversations. Our stage is a platform for igniting those conversations, kindling new ideas, and fueling an individual's passion. Come spark conversation and celebrate the power in ideas worth spreading at TEDxBinghamtonUniversity Ignite.
