MA in Statistics will be renamed MS in Data Science and Statistics in Fall 2025. The redesigned curriculum and streamlined requirements emphasize cutting-edge computing and career development, supporting the success of our students and alumni.
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics (DOMS) is a vibrant community where mathematicians and statisticians converge to explore, innovate, and educate. We offer both a BA and a BS in Mathematical Sciences, including tracks in Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science. At the graduate level, we offer an MS in Data Science and Statistics, an MA in Mathematics, and a PhD in Mathematical Sciences. In addition to our faculty and postdoctoral visitors, our community includes a large and valuable cadre of hard-working and talented undergraduate and graduate students.
