From NCAA athletics to banquets, to trade fairs and all events in between, the multipurpose Events Center supports a broad range of events while providing guests with outstanding sight lines, comfortable seating and a great atmosphere in order to ensure a positive experience at every event.
Conveniently located on the Binghamton University campus at the crossroads of New York state's Southern Tier, the Events Center sits alongside the West Gym, the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts and other spaces available for your next event. Our staff provides a full range of event services to make planning your events easier, affordable and with a focus on safety, security and satisfaction.
About the Center
The Events Center encompasses 156,000 square feet of floor space. The building design is contemporary and is constructed of steel, masonry, metal panels and glazing. A bowstring-steel-truss roof allows for an unobstructed view of events.
The Events Center has three levels:
Concourse Level
This is the upper level of the building where guests enter. The Box Office, concession stands, public restrooms, facility and athletics administrative offices, corporate suites, and Tau Club Room are located on this level.

Mezzanine Level
The middle level of the building provides space for coaches’ offices.
Event Level
The lowest level features a six lane 200-meter track and a multi-purpose area that can be used for a number of activities, including pole vault and long jump, tennis and basketball, and practice for many other sports. A curtain system allows areas to be sectioned off for different uses.
Also on the event level are team locker rooms, athletic and strength training rooms, team meeting room, media room, a public rest room, equipment storage, a sports medicine room and mechanical rooms.

Guest Service Representatives
Our representatives are dedicated to providing service excellence that comes with a warm welcome and friendly smile each time you visit. Our staff can be identified by their labeled shirts, their helpful attitudes, and their knowledge about how to make your visit to Binghamton University Events Center the very best it can be.
Guest Relations Desks
For your convenience, there is a Guest Services Desk in the Events Center located behind Section 106 on the Main Concourse, near the elevator. Staffed for every event, Events Staff Representatives can answer questions, give you helpful information and provide special services.
