2025-2026 Academic Guide Contributor's Resources

Welcome to the contributor’s guide for the 2025-2026 Academic Guide. This website is meant as a resource for those who are writing, editing, and/or contributing material to the creation of the upcoming academic year’s Academic Guide. As a contributor to the Academic Guide, we ask that you review this material to ensure that the Academic Guide is consistent throughout and fulfills its purpose in helping our students on their path to a great education here at Binghamton University.

For assistance with the Modern Campus Catalog software, please see our Catalog Guide.

We will offer office hours by appointment on zoom for assistance with your Guide pages and using the software. Please email us to set up an appointment.

If you have any questions not answered here, please direct them to the Undergraduate Education office.

Academic Guide Writing Timeline: Important dates and expected timeline of completion for the Academic Guide:

  • October 2024
    • 2025-2026 Academic Guide opens for editing and revision to all academic and non-academic departments.
  • March 2025
    • March 3, Monday: Faculty List updates due back to Undergraduate Education
    • March 21, Friday: All Schools, Colleges, and Departments finish their changes to the Guide. Note: This deadline includes Dean review.
    • Addendum: School, College, and Department changes are now due March 28 due to technical issue with version auditing. This deadline includes Dean review.
    • March 24, Monday: Undergraduate Education and Graduate Education begin their review of the Guide
  • April 2025
    • April 21, Monday: Final review of the Guide begins.
    • April 29, Tuesday: Finish final review of the Guide.
  • May 2025
    • May 1, Thursday: Academic Guide publication day!
