The Health Sciences Core Facility (HSCF) is a multi-use laboratory providing shared resources to support research and education in the health sciences. Established in 2018 with funds from the University Road Map, it and operates under the Analytical and Diagnostics Laboratory (ADL), part of the S3IP Center of Excellence. The HSCF occupies 4,500 square feet in the basement of the Center of Excellence Building at the Innovative Technologies Complex.
The lab includes the following resources:
- LC-MS Bruker TimsTOF Pro2
- Luminex 200 Multiplexing System
- Laser Scanning Confocal Microscopes
- Flow Cytometers
- Synergy Neo2 Plate Reader
- Cell Culture Lab
- Microbiology Lab
- Autoclave
The facility is managed and maintained by Ph.D.-level scientists. A faculty steering committee advises the development and policy decisions of the HSCF.
