Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS)

Bruker TimsTOF Pro2Bruker TimsTOF Pro2 mass spectrometer coupled with Elute UHPLC or nanoElute 2 nano-LC is the ideal platform for 4D-proteomics, 4D-metabolomics and 4D-lipidomics with its proven robustness, high sensitivity and fast MS/MS acquisition speed.

TimsTOF Pro2 resolves sample complexity by using the trapped ion mobility spectrometry (TIMS) as an added dimension of separation method in addition to the conventional high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry. This greatly increases peak capacity and confidence in compound characterization. The TIMS device also accumulates and concentrates ions of a given m/z and mobility, enabling a unique increase in sensitivity and speed.

Current service provided in the LC-MS suite includes:

  • Protein and peptide identification
  • Protein quantification
  • Small molecule identification and quantification (metabolites, lipids, etc.)
  • Intact protein analysis
  • Data analysis using Proteoscape software for protein and peptide analysis
  • Small molecule discovery and quantification using Metaboscape and TASQ software
