The printmaking program at Binghamton University grounds students in a broad range of traditional, contemporary and innovative techniques. The student will attain the skills to produce work using, relief, monotype, intaglio, serigraphy, lithography and related photo- processes.
Mastery of traditional and contemporary techniques is emphasized, including digital and contemporary printmaking methods. Undergraduate majors and minors will refine technical skills and will be encouraged through the process of conceptual theory and research to develop a cohesive body of work that utilizes printmaking techniques. Binghamton University's Fine Art and Design Printmaking Program is a progressive program with frequent visiting artists, interdisciplinary collaborations, exhibition opportunities and an annual Open House.
