Introduction to B-Healthy
The B-Healthy: Healthy Campus Initiative educates students about important college health topics such as reproductive health, mental health, general health; and alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. B-Healthy strives to promote a healthy, safe and inclusive campus culture by providing educational programs, staff and student training, and services.
Mandatory Trainings
All incoming Binghamton students are required to complete the following trainings as mandated by federal and state law. Below are the two online trainings that must be completed in order for the University to be compliant with these requirements.
Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) Training
At Binghamton, the health and safety of students is our top priority. As a new or incoming student to the University you are asked to review the ATOD training video at the link below and complete the short quiz at the end. The video contains information about campus policies; alcohol, tobacco and other drug services; harm reduction strategies, and campus resources. The training is about 11 minutes in length. You can access the training at the following link:
Decisions: Alcohol Awareness & Education Training
In addition, you should expect to complete the one-hour online course Decisions. The interactive program is designed to provide students with the information they need to make decisions regarding alcohol. The course focuses on expectations, motivations, and environmental impacts, and explains blood alcohol content (BAC) and alcohol by volume (ABV) measurements. You can access the training at the following link:
