Join us for the UFest Dog Parade!
As part of the University Fest celebrations, the Dog Parade has been a beloved event for the last 10 years! The Dog Parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
2024 Theme
"Pet Gala"
This year's Dog Parade theme, Pet Gala, is all about your dog living out their most
fabulous fantasies as they walk beside you down the red carpet through University
Fest for all to see! Inspired by the Met Gala and red carpet fanfare, we encourage
you to dress your dog to the nines in a costume that shows their glitz and glamour.
Feel free to get creative and overall, have fun! Costumes aren't required, but all dogs will get a gift for their participation.
Rules for participation:
- Dogs must be current with all vaccinations.
- One dog per walker.
- Owners are responsible for pets' discharge — YOU MUST POOP SCOOP!
- Pets must not be in season.
- Each pet must be on a leash (no shock collars allowed).
- Owner and pet will be asked to leave if any aggression is displayed.
- Please respect other pets and keep a leash distance.
- Owners are encouraged to bring water.
