The Office of Media and Public Relations amplifies all of the great news coming out of Binghamton University through photos, videos, social media, and media relations at the local, national and international levels.
The MPR office serves as a liaison between Binghamton University and the news media. We work with campus partners (faculty, staff, students, administrators and alumni) to respond to media requests for interviews and promote new research, events, programming and more.
Our team:
- Drafts, publishes and distributes news releases
- Develops media strategies and pitches to news outlets
- Coordinates interviews with the media
- Tracks mentions of Binghamton in the media
- Assists with TV, Zoom, radio and podcast interviews
- Provides media training
